Sunnyside Property Services was founded in July 2024 with one clear mission: solve property problems the right way the first time.
The beginnings of Sunnyside goes back decades. From doing yard work at an early age to spending more than 20 years in construction industry sales, our leadership developed a deep understanding of Connecticut properties, soil conditions, drainage challenges, and structural issues.
The turning point came in 2006 after purchasing a home with serious water problems inside and out. Rather than accepting expensive contractor solutions, we designed and completed the repairs ourselves. The results were permanent. Neighbors soon began asking for help, and what started as one solution grew into years of successful work solving complex drainage and property issues. Sunnyside was built to fill a clear gap in the industry.
What Makes Us Different
Most contractors specialize in one trade. Landscapers install drains but may not understand stormwater science. Waterproofing companies focus on the inside but ignore exterior causes. Tree companies remove trees but do not address the drainage damage roots can create.

Hi, my name is Ken Biggs and I’m the owner of Sunnyside Property Services. I have been in and around the Connecticut property services industry for over 25 years and, as a lifelong Connecticut resident, I am pleased to introduce to you my first property services company, Sunnyside Property Services LLC.

My name is Ken Biggs, and I am the founder of Sunnyside Property Services. As a lifelong Connecticut resident with more than 25 years of experience in the property services industry, I built this company with a deep understanding of our local communities and the unique challenges homeowners face here in Connecticut.
Sunnyside Property Services was created during a season of reflection in my life. After experiencing personal loss within my family and community, I began thinking seriously about the kind of impact I wanted to make moving forward. I realized that stable career opportunities, meaningful work, and a strong sense of purpose can make a profound difference in people’s lives.
I have always had two strengths: seeing property projects through from start to finish and identifying opportunities to build something better. Bringing those together allowed me to create a company that not only delivers exceptional property services, but also provides opportunity, structure, and pride in workmanship for the people who work alongside me.
There is something deeply rewarding about solving problems for homeowners. Whether it is correcting drainage issues, restoring landscaping, or improving the overall function and beauty of a property, the work we do directly improves the lives of the families we serve. That sense of contribution and responsibility guides everything we do.
